I will probably cease using Tumblr entirely. It’s a garbage format, I will not reblog from pages that use it, and I will not myself use it. I’ll continue reblogging older Legacy posts until they start to phase out of my dash. Really unfortunate that Tumblr insists on axing every good feature this site used to have in favor of desperately grasping at trendy functions like Live, Blaze, Post+ etc. This shift is a slap in the face to web-based image blogs. Despite the immense amount of feedback, no improvements have been made to the Photo post format basically amounting to inserting a shrunken image in a text box.
Now it appears that @wip is doubling down on their SHIT new editor and framing it’s broken features and the way posts appear on web as the fault of “old themes.” This is just infuriating and disrespectful to all of the committed bloggers on this platform. I have been on here for over a decade.
